The Breg Polar Cube ice machine does everything it says it does. It is an absolute must have for after a knee replacement, or any surgery that requires icing. It’s easy to use and dependable. Instead of using ice or ice bags, freeze 8 16oz water bottles. When ready to use the cube, add water to the cube as directed, then place 4 of the 8 16oz frozen water bottles in the cube in each corner, put the cube lid on, and plug it in. Alternate the 8 frozen bottles of water 4 at a time, as needed. 4 frozen bottles will last easily half a day. You will need to also purchase the appropriate wrap that you need. Honestly, this machine is sturdy and so easy to use, and definitely does the job. You won’t be sorry getting this Breg Polar Cube. It’s a keeper!

Simple preparation, ice and water, coldness is comforting. Circulation of the water is key to keeping this unit cold for a good stretch of time. Hopefully it will continue to operate 100% as promoted.

Purchased the Breg Polar Care Wave to be used after a hip surgery. The unit is compact, quiet, and easy to set up and use. I have used it several times a day and can tell it is helping with my swelling and pain. Going to order a universal pad to have on hand in case anyone in my family ever needs cold therapy.
