I am 56 years old and started having serious back pain about 12 years ago. I have a cracked vertebrae and doctor's have told me it will likely never heal. I had a back surgeon tell me that he views back surgery as a last resort and he finds that it often leads to more surgeries in the future so his advice to me was "hold out as long as you can" before you go the surgery route. I felt I was at the point where that was my only option for possible relief. Now, I feel like a new man with a new lease on life. After 2-1/2 weeks of use for 15 min a dayi can tell a difference. I still have some neck pain but much less pain running up the back of my head causing head aches. I recommend this device.

I bought this to help with bursitis of my Achilles tendons. The compression and ice help alleviate swelling and pain. The knee applicator was my first purchase for post surgical knee replacement. It was an immense help with swelling and pain so I was fairly sure the ankle/foot one would help as well. Very glad I purchased both to use with the Polar Wave.
