I bought this one because the one that the doctor's office gave me is getting very punky. We have had a lot of rain and I have been trying to keep up with my yard work so my Air Cast is in really bad shape

I was given a cheaper boot by my ortho. This TAL boot is so much lighter and more comfortable. I am able to walk on it.

After a prolonged wait for diagnosis, I was finally diagnosed with Achilles Tendonitis Bursitis and the orthopedic prescribed the AirCast FP Walker Boot at that time. Fast Forward 9 years and still having extreme trouble with Achilles Tendonitis Bursitis in 2021 and a worn out 2012 boot I ordered the exact same boot and size for the same problem I had been diagnosed with in 2012. I did a 950 mile hard drive and exacerbated by condition and may still seek medical help if I can't get it to calm down but for now the boot allows me to walk with significantly diminished pain. I knew what I was ordering and what size so this meets my needs and it was shipped quickly so I could get relief. I would order from this company again and am very satisfied with the AirCast FP Walker Boot.

Background: I have a talus and 5th metatarsal fractures with soft tissue damage around my talus. I was initially given the short version of this boot at urgent care. My podiatrist prefers this version but given that my insurance only covers one boot, he said that it would be adequate. I gave the short AirCast a try but it wasn't stabilizing enough and I was getting calf cramps once I started walking more. It was bad enough that I was willing to pay out of pocket for a taller boot. I found this boot at such a good price that I was willing to give it a try. What a difference and what a great price! This taller version makes it easier for me to walk. I also prefer this brand and style of boot because of the rigid front piece. This keeps the straps from putting pressure on the top of my foot and ankle which are very tender because of the soft tissue damage. Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this boot. Shipping was also very fast which I greatly appreciated!
