Comfort Dorsal Night Splint

The only thing I don’t like is it is hard to get over my ankle and I don’t have big ankles. Wish there was more room sense it does have velcro tightning straps. Oterwise it is fine and I sleep ok with it on.

1. I ordered a medium. I received a large.2. The accompanying product info says that the instructions "are intended for the use of qualified professionals only...not recommended for patients to attempt to apply or adjust this device unless instructed by an orthopedic professional..." The website does not mention this, it's only in the printed info.3. The fitting instructions are on a 4 x 6 inch piece of paper, the black and white photos are too small to be helpful. That being said, I eventually figured out how to adjust it, it's more comfortable than I expected (be sure to wear a sock), I sleep through the night and am usually pain-free in the morning.

it has helped me a lot, even though it is rather painful to wear all night. I usually take it off after 4 to 5 hours.

I wore a boot to the knee for 10 weeks for planter fasciitis. My foot wasn’t completely healed yet but if I wore the splint at night & special innersoles in my shoes in daytime, the pain was minimal. I wear a women’s size 10 shoe & the small splint was a bit too short & small around but I wore it for 6 months. The size medium is a bit too big but fits better than the small. I plan to wear it for at least another 4-6 months because my foot feels so much better when I wear it. I sewed a tab on it so I can attach it to my luggage for wear it on the plane for a trip & at night.

Took it to my podiatrist & he approved it as long as it is set to 90 degree angle. It’s working well. I give it 4 stars because the dorsal front makes the Velcro flaps (that wrap around the ball of my foot) stick out, so the Velcro sticks to the sheet & blanket & wakes me up. I put a fuzzy sock around the front of the night splint and that works. If it was redesigned a bit it’d be perfect.
