I have PTTD with periodic Plantar Fasciitis. The Dr gave me an XcelTrax full size boot to wear when I am out of the house. The boot gets hot and heavy. I found the same brand short boot here and am in heaven. The short boot is so much lighter to wear while shopping. Delivery was quick, service was not needed, and the quality is superior. The only problem I had was the air sack sits right above the ankle and irritated the plantar fasciitis. I simply used the extra pads provided with the boot and padded the ankle under the air sack. All was good after that. I may elect to purchase the same boot without the air sack feature if the pads shift out of place on this one. Time will tell. LOVE this boot. Thank you.

I have previously had a boot for a sprained ankle. This boot I got for a broken foot. It is made so much better and more comfortable than the previous one I had.
